Get to Know Me

Ask any writer to describe themselves, and they’ll almost always draw a blank. I’m not much different! For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by words and how they fit together on a page to create something beautiful. I can’t recall a time when I wasn’t daydreaming or coming up with my own story ideas, and I’m still in awe that I’ve turned my lifelong passion into a career.

I began honing my craft at Wingate University in North Carolina, where I earned my first professional experience as a screenwriter, editor, and published academic researcher. After graduating summa cum laude with a degree in English, I went on to work for a local real estate marketing company as their go-to copywriter. Since then, I’ve written for some of the top-selling real estate agents across the country and gained skills in HTML, as well as search engine optimization.

Above all, I believe words hold the sort of intrinsic value you can’t find in anything else. As a dedicated grammarian and idea-chaser, I have the skill set you need to turn your ideas into a dynamic story.

In my free time, you’ll probably catch me obsessing over my next writing project, curling up with a book, or gaming with my friends. I’ve also taken up pottery, painting miniatures, or enjoying everything life in the Raleigh area has to offer. And before you ask, yes…I do still believe in the Oxford comma.
